'Flood', Tapestry, Jacquard woven, 2015

The flood of 1953 is one of the most important historical events in the Netherlands.
The group of people who actually lived through this disaster has become smaller.
Can design give new attention to this story and can we document it in a special way for the future?
These questions were explored through an exhibition designed in commision for the Floodmuseum
Both the historical and current aspects of flood and flood management are shown in a series of objects.

Exhibition was on show from November 2015 until November 2016 in the Floodmuseum, Ouwerkerk, the Netherlands.
